4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 worldbeertaste (1117) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2013
They call it a Belgian Ale but if so hoppy that it leans towards IPA. Somewhere between, gold and orange with a nice thick, hugs the glass, lasting foamy white head. Some light floaties. Smells of lemon citrus, toasted malt, and a fruity yeast mixed with coriander. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Very fruity sweet at first with malt and then moves to a medium bitter hoppy citrus peppery dry finish. From fruity to citrus with soft spices. A great beer to easily enjoy.

Somewhat jazzy golden yellow with lasting, lacing foam head. Aroma is quite hoppy, so is taste. Nice aftertaste. (Haarlem 201304)

Bottle. Pours a murky golden beer with small floaties in it. Nice, stable white head that leaves great lacing on the glass. Aroma has some raisins, some faint licorice, banana.. very complex.. Flavour is quite bitter, hoppy and juicy. Not a dry finish, instead it’s a long, juicy finish. Again there is a faint touch of licorice, which is pretty interesting. Very nice spring beer, did not expect this at all.

Draft at The Huppel, Den Haag. Poured a clear amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeasty leading to a yeasty, very slightly sour flavour. It’s a very satisfying and refreshing beer that has no trouble quenching the thirst.
