On tap at the klimmuur Haarlem. Slightly sour, should be fresh but doesn't taste right. Nice medium bodied bitterness as a contrast. Hops seemed old and subdued. Could be really good…

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very fruity aroma and good firm foam. Very cloudy beer with flakes floating around. Taste is rather bitter and not that good for this type of beers. I have had better.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
300ml bottle. Filmy golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and slightly yeasty aroma, some husk. Taste is initially minimally sweet pale malty, later dry husky, in the finish bitter hoppy, underlying hints of alcohol.

They call it a Belgian Ale but if so hoppy that it leans towards IPA. Somewhere between, gold and orange with a nice thick, hugs the glass, lasting foamy white head. Some light floaties. Smells of lemon citrus, toasted malt, and a fruity yeast mixed with coriander. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Very fruity sweet at first with malt and then moves to a medium bitter hoppy citrus peppery dry finish. From fruity to citrus with soft spices. A great beer to easily enjoy.

Somewhat jazzy golden yellow with lasting, lacing foam head. Aroma is quite hoppy, so is taste. Nice aftertaste. (Haarlem 201304)

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a murky golden beer with small floaties in it. Nice, stable white head that leaves great lacing on the glass. Aroma has some raisins, some faint licorice, banana.. very complex.. Flavour is quite bitter, hoppy and juicy. Not a dry finish, instead it’s a long, juicy finish. Again there is a faint touch of licorice, which is pretty interesting. Very nice spring beer, did not expect this at all.
