3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2013 Bottle from a gift pack. Orange golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts and coriander, citrus, fruits. Flavour is spicy sweet, coriander and anis. Too sweet for me. 73537 Re-rate 26AUG13 I find this to be more malty, but less sugary sweet than before, some caramel/toffee in there, nice lemon peel. It’s still sweet, but has a decent bitter finish and a little more hop-kick. Medium-bodied. 737314

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottled) Clear golden with lots of floating, white yeast particles and a small, firm and lacy head. Sweetish, honey-malty and citrusy aroma with some nuttyness. Grainy-malty, dryish and grassy-hoppy, bitter flavor with light fruitiness and nutty coriander spiciness. Hides the alcohol well until it warms up. Medium-bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Spicy, herby and hoppy, easy to drink - yet not something I’d buy again.

300ml bottle (Cracked Kettle)
Pale orange, poured with floaty bits as I wasn’t careful. Simple hoppy aroma, soft and sweet, a little creamy, some citrus. Zingy zesty fruit-cake taste, very clear bitter noble hops too. Quite exciting at first. Alas it doesn’t improve as it warms, in fact it gets a little flat and dulls a bit.

I saw this labeled as maibock. Nose of coriander, hay and perfumed clove, obviously not maibok. Chewy but light, with a flavor of sweet candy sugar, mild fruit and heavy coriander.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sweetish blonde with character but lacks balance. Drunk on draft at the Wildeman. Pours pale gold with decent white head, receding. Sweetish, lightly hoppy nose, fruity and floral. Mildly sweet with cidery-peachy notes, going into a moderate bitterness with a touch of alcohol showing through. Meh.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
light golden pour big white head thick lace. Belgian yeast and bread sweet candies, very nice blonde style. Nice easy palate. Good flavor, bread is light, hints of grain finishes with sweet sugars touch of grass in the finish. Suggests a mild hopping, nice and easy to drink, would make a good session ale if not for the 7%.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden colour, big white head. Aroma has a lot of coriander, along with some yeast and hops. Flavour is yeasty and fruity. Spices are noticable as well, coriander is overpowering it. Refreshing, average.
