3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, - JUL 6, 2008
(Bottled) Clear golden with lots of floating, white yeast particles and a small, firm and lacy head. Sweetish, honey-malty and citrusy aroma with some nuttyness. Grainy-malty, dryish and grassy-hoppy, bitter flavor with light fruitiness and nutty coriander spiciness. Hides the alcohol well until it warms up. Medium-bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Spicy, herby and hoppy, easy to drink - yet not something I’d buy again.

I’ve never been a giant fan of spring beers, they’re always excessively sweet, but this one is very decent. Some floral aromas and a sharp, not overwhelming sweetness, throughout. Nice balance.

Pours a light amber colored beer with a beautiful fine-pored head. The smell is very grainy, very sweet and subtle hoppy. Starts with lots of malt flavor, well-balanced bitter-sweet, very fruity, tart and again very grainy. The middle part shows slightly musty-malty and fruity and hoppy. In the finish the beer is stale-hoppy, very yeasty and fermented-fruity

Pours a nice golden color, bit thick and bit hazy with a slight foam head. Tastes a lot like Jopen Hoppenbeer (bitter, yeasty) but with a nice fruity add to it. Bitter and strong in taste. Enjoyable.
