Bought a bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis. The beer is blonde and has a small white head, CO2 level is normal. In the aroma tones of bananas and some spices. The taste is fruity with tones of bananas and some spices and light tones of caramel are noticable. Further it’s a little watery taste with some light bitterness. The finish is fruity and fresh and has a light bitter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark copper transparent beer with a foamy head and central column carbonation.
Yeasty peachy smell with citrus and salty sourness. Some wood and puke.
Taste is watery warmth, mainly citrus and peach with a touch of wheat... making it indeed a weize at the last moment :-)

30cl bottle at home. Clear to hazy dark golden with a medium white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet with bitter notes. Citrus, banana and mild hops. A tad watery, but refreshing weizen.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 12, 2014 Hazy orange golden, small frothy white head, vanishes quickly, thin layer remains, a bit lacing; sweet wheaty and fruity nose, banana, bread, dough, coriander, citrus, a bit roasty, floral hops; at first mildly sweet, develops into a wheaty acidity but not that sour; light to medium texture, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation; mild sweetsour taste with a lingering sourness, hint of bitterness. Well-balanced, nice beer but I wouldn’ t consider it as a dunkelweizen.

Bottled from biernavigatie.nl Slightly hazy dark golden colored, off-white head. Fruity nose, hops, some wheat. Malty flavor, later on some wheat, some bitterness, hardly any sweetness. Medium to thin bodied. Easy to drink beer, quite clean. Nice brew.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Actually somewhere in between regular weizen and dunkelweizen. When it comes to both color and taste. Tad sour with some sour apple. Bready, earthy undertone. Quite unique and therefore I appreciate their effort.

Pours an amber/blonde colour, taste is wheaty and creamy with some banana, not as good as the German wheat beers

comments were for on tap at the brewpub;nice refreshing beer especially after a walk-around haarlem day.taste was lighter and watered down compared to the bottle.
glad to try a dutch dunkel weizen but it does not compare to what i have drunk from germany!
