3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 33cl, at home while cooking. I drank this icecold and even then the hop taste was really present. It was refreshing and really nice. When it was cold I mostly tasted citrus and coughing syrup. After a while the beer was at room temperature and there was a malty taste to be found. Nice surprise. Would definitely drink again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber colored, small to moderate white head. Aroma is of wheat, some caramel, spices and orange, some banana. Taste is medium- sweet wheat, spices, fruit and orange again, yeast. Not as much banana or citrus as you would hope. Light bodied, thin, medium carbonation. Also Dunkelweizen is not the first thing that comes to mind for this one...

Malt, wheat, yeast, banana, citrus.
Amber/orange beer with a disappearing white head.
Starts sweet and spicy, wheat gets more prominent towards the end.

Gedronken op Haarlems foodtruck festival. Gewoon lekker dunkelweizen, geen bijzondere smaken.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer has a beautiful amber color. There is the typical weizen troublenes. The foam head is white and little. A little drape of foam remains on top of the beer. It is darker than most weizen beers. The smell is sweet and nice. There is some zest. Not that much zest though. The smell is also quite weak. It is not as fruity and sweet as most weizen beers, but it is nice. It has some more bitterness. Not the best Jopen beer by definitely not bad.

Thanks to Triock. Tawny, hazy. Standard 11.2oz longneck, rather plain label, big fluffy head. Molasses notes, toffee, burnt sugars, herbal hops. Moderately sweet. Mouthy. Doughy/yeasty aftertaste.
