Bottle from a trade with Countbeer, cheers! Pours a murky brown with a light mocha head, which later forms a layer on the beer. Aroma is herby and slightly earth. Taste is herby, slightly caramel sweet and a low bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Toll abgestimmt!

Brown beer, medium to large tan head. Fruity/hoppy nose, some caramel and sweetness. Flavor is hoppy, perfume, pine, toasty notes, fruit and resin. Can’t detect the alcohol at all. Nice one. Shared by martjoobolut, thanks!

Een lekkere kruidige quadrupel. Duidelijk hop en karamel aanwezig. Aan de zoete kant. Weinig schuim.

330ml bottle. Very dark copper color. Huge size, beige head, stays forever. Fruity, sweet, peach, farty, slightly sour notes in aroma. Metallic, yeast, slightly papery, fruity hops, sweetish taste. Long lasting papery caramel in aftertaste. Alcohol is all over it.

Deep brown beer with a short lived beige foamy head. Sweet nose of melted caramel, alcohol and some spice. Dark, ripe fruit, caramel and some toasted grains that end in a bit of a hop and alcohol burn in the finish. Nice nightcap.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. A beautiful chestnut brown beer with an impressive cream colored head and nice CO2 level. The aroma is full sweetness of caramel and eventually gets the counterweight of the roasted tones. In the mounth you firstly experience roasted malts and eventually you can also taste the fruitiness of black berries and melon. The finish is a long aftertaste of laurel with neat hopbitters. For me this is the best beer Jopen has to offer. It can compete with La Trappe Quadrupel.
