Bottle, 75 cl, nice paintedand , with extra glass in the package. Dark brown, dense off white head, creamy. Aroma has coffee, mocca, cacao and roasted malts. Full bodied taste, somewhat bitter, not sweet.Full, and thick a bit like butter.Long aftertatse, with a hint of alcohol. Good.

Bottled @ Arendsnest. Hazy dark amber colour, off-white head. Nose is caramel malts, candy sugar. Flavour is caramel malts, candy sugar, little spicy. Decent stuff.

Bottle @ Arendsnest. The aroma has raisins, orange, sugar, spices (cinnamon, clove) an dcaramel. Slightly hazy, dark brown coloured beer with an off-white-beige head. The taste is sweet, caramel, fruity and spicy. Full bodied, belly-warming. Very nice.

Bottle @ KBC 2011. A red/brown colored beer, with a foamy beige head. The aroma of malts with fruits and spices. The taste has malts with liquorice juice, spices and alcohol in the back. The aftertaste is bitter with spices and some sweet.

Small vast tan head on top of a hazy deep dark brown, with a ruby shine, colored beer.
Smell barleys, oysters, sweets, mollasses,
Taste mollasses, barleys, sweet, hops, bitter, spices, herbs hops, syrup.
Full mollassy bitter aftertaste.
Low carbo, medium to full body and a soft mouthfeel.
Light creamy sticky texture.
Lovely balanced, lovely beer.

7th February 2011 A bottle shared with my work mates at ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Cloudy brown beer, small tan head. Light aged malt nose. Soft creamy palate. Caramel, creamy malt. Mild licorice spice. Finishes soft and dry. Not bad but just lacks a little cohesion.

Bottled@fonefan. Hazy ambery colour with not too much head. Aroma is caramel malts, some syrup, mild alcohol as well as some slight raisins as well. Flavour is fruits, raisins, alcohol, plum and some slight syrupy notes. Rather pleasant Barley Wine.
