COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
November 11th 2009 is our 15th anniversary. To celebrate this we brewed Jubeljoop III. We let our consumers decide what kind of beer it should be. Triple has won with 36% of the votes, second was IPA with 24%. Of course we gave this triple our own touch. This 9% triple was based on the recipe for our historic Hoppenbier (recipe dated 1501). Jubeljoop III will be availabe from November 11th 2009 til November 11th 2010. Brewed with barley and rye.

Pours a murky golden colour with a quickly dissappating head. Aroma is a strong bitter hoppy aroma, some grassy notes there. Roasty/toasty flavour, grassy and hoppy notes there in between. Slight hint of coffee going down, with a touch of warmth. Thin bodied, goes down smooth.

330 mml bottle tasted on 02/08/2014. Hazy golden orange colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of malts, sugar, candy and citrus. Intense flavour with citrus, vainilla, clove and some caramel. Aftertaste is very intense too. Medium carbonation and Medium to high body. The presence of alcohol is notable but balanced. Next one please!

Golden with white head. Big spices at first with nutmeg, cloves, corainder. Some orange peel, unripe fruit, and honey. Nice sweet full maltiness, going into bitter finish where still a bit of sweetness shines through. Medium to full bodied. Nice tripel.

Bottle 33cl. Lovely tripel with the great Jopen bitterness in the aftertaste. Yellow/orange colour with a strong white top. Complex in all his flavours but it still invites you for another one when you finish it. Lovely beer.

Bottle 33cl. Golden with a big white head. Malty nose and for some strange reason I believe this is the perfect match with asperges (must be because I’m living where they grew asperges). Nice rich taste, balanced and not sweet which you migt think when having a tripel. Medium length.

hazy golden colour with a slightly orange glow. Medium white head and a medium carbonation. A typical triple character with some fruity notes to it. Citrus, Coriander and a malty taste. slightly bitter aftertaste with the Jopen character definitely recognisable.

Classy one with a huge blonde soul and some yeast in the back. Vanilla, some bread, but caramel and lots of carbo. Thick, easy to drink, quaffy - good one.
