COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
November 11th 2009 is our 15th anniversary. To celebrate this we brewed Jubeljoop III. We let our consumers decide what kind of beer it should be. Triple has won with 36% of the votes, second was IPA with 24%. Of course we gave this triple our own touch. This 9% triple was based on the recipe for our historic Hoppenbier (recipe dated 1501). Jubeljoop III will be availabe from November 11th 2009 til November 11th 2010. Brewed with barley and rye.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2011 Tap @ wildeman. Clear golden yellowish color, medium white head. Aroma is spicy, dryish, slight hoppy. Spicy tripel. Bit thin. Rating: 3.0 Bottled. Spicy touch is more obvious, but quite nicely balanced with a typical belgian yeast flavor palate. I’m not a big fan of spiced up beers, but this brew is one I can enjoy. Interesting stuff.

Trocken alkoholischer und hefiger Beginn. Etwas herb, gering blumig. Trocken bleibend, zum Ende bitterer. Getreidig, dann malziger. Nichts Besonderes. 7/10/10/8/7/9

300ml bottle. Cloudy dark orange brown with small white head. Complex aroma: fresh bread, fusty moistly straw basis, strawberry overtones. Taste starts fruity, then a dry hop bitterness comes in, laying down on everthing else. For a short time a fresh fruityness procures space until the bitterness rules again, leaving only a dry aftertaste on tongue. High IBUs make it interesting.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, small and stable off-white foamy layer, honey, grains, fruits and alcohol in the nose; sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; increasing tartness and bitterness in the sweet-alcoholic finish. Not my cup of tea...

My label is the same as the picture: Jopen Jubeljoop III. Never seen it any other way. Some floating bits in the amber colored pour. Looks like gelatin or something with the floaties in there. Small pools of white bubbles sit on top, with spots of them attaching to the glass. Big aroma of alcohol and sugar. Sweet malty taste with some hints of raisins and sugar. A little too sweet, but takes away from the blah aroma. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Golden orange. Cloudy. Wheat aromas, citrusy taste, bitterness in the back of the throat hit hard. Light body.
