Bottle shared @ weekly tasting. Murky brownish color, small beige head that lasts for a decent while. Smells like I’m buried in candy! Weird! Taste is way too sweet, again candy, strawberry but a bit artificial. Figs in there? Don’t get it. Hmm too sweet for my liking.

33cl. Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma sweet, sugary, cocos. Taste very very sweet. Mouth-feel thin, bit syrupy. To sweet.

Sampler from Biercafé Boudewijn @ Rotterdam. Blessed be the heavens I got it for free. Cloying, sickening sweetness. Sugary and artificial, can’t even vaguely recognize any figs in this. Absolutely revolting, even after letting it warm up. Had many great beers from this brewery, but this is disgusting beyond belief.

Bier from Mitra Middenweg. Dark brown body with puffy head. Nose is figs, sweet, malts, grapes. Taste is quite sweet, figgy. Wow. This is something different. Very sweet. But not my thing at all.

Opaque dark ruby brown with lacing light brown foam head. Aroma is sweet, sugary, fruity. Taste is strange, figgs, but far too sweet, fruity. Strange beer, will not have this again. (Velp 201312)

Small head, brown coloured beer. The aroma is an experience by itselfs. Can’t remember having a beer with so many layers in smell. Just to give an impression: cocktail sauce, scented candles, perfume, blossom, Barley sugar, rum raisins... With these smell you can imagine the beer is sweet. And it sure is! Barely any other tastes that sweetness. You could say to much even. Even the carbonation is low so it’s mainly sugarwater with alcohol. Didn’t get the figs out of the taste.

Gusher. Murky dark brown, small beige head. Weird beer! Extremely strong aroma and taste that are hard to define. Makes me think of a combination of glue, cough syrup, candy and figs. Don’t like it.
