"Witte Rook" is onze gerookte blonde Weizenbock.

Has a sweet smokey aroma. Reminds me of smoked salmon. Body a bit thin and flat. Quite dry overall with some fruity citrus notes in the background.

Pours a nice orange beer with a good white head. Smells fruity. I expected smoke aroma. There were some hints but not much. The taste contained morr smoke. A bit dull beer. But nice

330 ml bottle, poured into a weizen. ABV 7% Deep orange golden colour on the body, hazy, with two full fingers of white head, with average retention, collapsing withiut leaving any lacing on the glass. Heavy aroma of smoke that covers everything else. Taste of smoke mainly, then some wheat surfaces. Medium sweet taste, gets numbed again from the smoked malts. Aftertaste is a combination of fruity flavours and smoke. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Not that bad, maybe a little too much smoke for me.

Somewhat hazy dark yellow with white foam head. Aroma is not strong, some barley, some citrus, some wood. Taste is not a smoked nor a weizen beer, certainly a mixture of both. Aftertaste is citrus dominated. (Velp 201306).

Frothy head over a hay coloured opaque beer without carbonation. Smoked ham, bbq smell. Salty, ash, smoke taste mixed with Belgian triple sweetness.. hints of cherries even. Fruitiness, peaches? Brilliant. A surprising on-the-edge, schizophrenic fusion of rauchbeer and Belgian classic triple. Not a beer you want everyday but an artwork you need to put effort in to explore when you’re in the mood.

Slightly hazy light brown colour, white head. Aroma of smoke, malts, light honey, dried meat and apricot. Malty flavour, ash, smoked wheat, smoke, the kind you find in smoked ham cheese potato chips (hamka’s). Lots of carbo. Light sour finish, wheat, banana, sweet touches, light smoke, lingering ash.
