COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zwart Witte is een verwijzing naar de kleur; zwart en naar de naam van de bedenker Arjan Witte (winnaar van de ABT proeverij van 2012) De porter heeft gebrande tonen uit de geroosterde moutsoorten, de roggeroost geeft daarbij chocolade achtige tonen. De Chipotle pepers (gerookte Jalepeno) geeft een chilipeper verwarmendheid met kruidige en gerookte tonen als laatste smaak onderdeel zit er Madagaskar Vanille bij. Kortom; chocolade, koffie, peper en vanille zijn de elementen.De Gebruikte moutsoorten zijn Pale Alemout, Ambermout, Rogge Roastmout, Roast 1400 en Cara 120 mout.rnDe Hopsoorten zijn Hallertau Tradition, East Kent Golding en Admiral als ketelhoppen en Admiral en East Kent Golding als Whirlpool hop

On tap at het Brouwcafe. Black with an offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malts, old chocolate and coffee. Taste is bitter, some chocolate and coffee. Light spicy pepper feel in the bitter roasted aftertaste. Bit thin and watery.

On tap @ De Brabantse Aap. Dark almost black color with beige head. Smell of bitter chocolate and roasted malt. Taste of toasted bread, liquorice, spicy with some smoke in the background.

Tap at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin off white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is rich roasted malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a creamy chocolate coffee liqourice palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation and an oily texture.

Tap @ Morshuis Albergen. Almost black. Roast, licorice, caramel werthers echte. Malty sweet flavor with licorice, roast, caramel and diactyl. Grassy hops. Could be much better.

[10/12/13] Draught at In De Wildeman in Amsterdam. Black with a tan head. Aroma of some roastines, licorice, chocolate, dark fruits and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with some roastiness, some chocolate, licorice and a bit of bitterness in the finish with light spiciness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

On tap at In De Wildeman. Pours a clear dark brown with a creamy brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has notes of sweet chocolate, vanilla and marshmallow with underlying light spice. Flavor starts with sweet chocolate and dark grains and is joined by vanilla and marshmallow with a touch of spice.
