Draft - Floral orange and caramel malts. Clear gold with a thin head. Spicy, earthy hops ad orange. A decent but funny rye as you do get the fruitiness of citra.

On tap @ Haven Gastropub. Clear orange colored pour with a white head. Nose is intensely pine forward. Big grapefruit peel as well. Very light malt, maybe some cracker and bread. Hints of tropical fruit. Big, big bitterness on the tongue. Very dry as well. Tons of pine and citrus peel and pith. Some grapefruit, light orange, and a bit of grass. Minimal malt sweetness, just a bit of bread and cracker. Pretty good, though less aggressive bitterness would have been appreciated.

Sample at GABF 2013. Pours amber orange with an impressive head. Powerful aroma of orange, tangerine, and grapefruit. Medium body with lively carbonation. Surprising lack of rye spiciness. Sweet malt body with plenty of bitterness to cover it up. Overall, an interesting beer.

On tap at Aces and Ales 2. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice combination of citrus and rye with a touch of resin underlying. Flavor has the same citrus and pine combination that is really well balanced throughout.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant floral hops, with nice citrusy character, light Belgian overtones of fruity esters. In mouth, a nice grassy malt with loads of citrusy hops, flowers, very nice.

On tap at Freakin’ Frog. Pour is clear orange with a huge pillowy, cream head and great lacing. Big tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, caramel, and lightly soapy aroma. Taste is fruity, orange peel, soapy, grapefruit, lightly floral, and a touch of spicy rye with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Well-balanced, fruity, sweet, crisp, and hoppy. Pretty tasty IPA.
