Draft at Rebel RePUBlic. Not telling anyone where I’m from. Remember, pronounce the letter R, draw out vowels. I’ll be okay. ;) Pours orange brown gold with a small clingy white head. Nice grapefruit citrus aroma, some cereal. Taste has cereal and caramel in the backbone, plenty of grapefruit hop to balance. This is probably the best Nev-eya-da beer I’ve tried so far.

The used to be worst in Nevada keeps climbing. A nice, aromatic, fruity and lightly spicy brew. Big on the citrus in nose and flavor with light rye and a light to moderate bitterness.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2014 Overall, good rye pale ale, on tap at the los angeles beer festival, pours amber with a huge head and lots of white lacing, very strong, smells bitter, taste is nice crisp, some rye malts, nice.

Draft - Floral orange and caramel malts. Clear gold with a thin head. Spicy, earthy hops ad orange. A decent but funny rye as you do get the fruitiness of citra.

On tap @ Haven Gastropub. Clear orange colored pour with a white head. Nose is intensely pine forward. Big grapefruit peel as well. Very light malt, maybe some cracker and bread. Hints of tropical fruit. Big, big bitterness on the tongue. Very dry as well. Tons of pine and citrus peel and pith. Some grapefruit, light orange, and a bit of grass. Minimal malt sweetness, just a bit of bread and cracker. Pretty good, though less aggressive bitterness would have been appreciated.

Sample at GABF 2013. Pours amber orange with an impressive head. Powerful aroma of orange, tangerine, and grapefruit. Medium body with lively carbonation. Surprising lack of rye spiciness. Sweet malt body with plenty of bitterness to cover it up. Overall, an interesting beer.

On tap at Aces and Ales 2. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice combination of citrus and rye with a touch of resin underlying. Flavor has the same citrus and pine combination that is really well balanced throughout.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant floral hops, with nice citrusy character, light Belgian overtones of fruity esters. In mouth, a nice grassy malt with loads of citrusy hops, flowers, very nice.
