2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2012 12 ounce can. Pours a clear fizzy golden color. A ripe apple nose. A rich apple and citrus flavor, sour at times, glue, just ok. A bit odd as most gluten free brews tend to be.

Can. Had no idea this was so high in ABV when tasting. So pale not even yellow. No head. Faint scent of sugar. †Apple juice with a couple drops of vinegar.

2.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
OMG! Aroma in a gluten-free beer! This has a nice fresh hop aroma. Almost no color. This is quite strainy. A nice dry finish, that is really better than the body of the beer. Certainly No.1 or 2 in gluten-free beers Iíve had, but...donít think Iíd buy it again.

My wife thought this was terrible, but I found it drinkable and one of the best Gluten-free beers Iíve had to date. Not much aroma. Appearance is very thin and clear. The flavor is dry and crisp like a pilsener.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma has hops and grains with a slight yeast quality. The appearance is straw gold with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall drinkable for the gluten free crowd.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz can picked up at the state store
Appearance: Pours clear straw yellow with a fast fading white head and some lacing
Aroma: Citrus, oranges and tangerines
Taste: Citrus, fruity, lemon and herbal
Unique is the best way to describe this. I like it, very refreshing but has a bitter/herbal aftertaste that takes away from the rest of the beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is citrus, vegetables and an odd note in the malts probably due to the sorghum. The flavor is citrus, vegetables/celery/spices, malts and a mild bitterness in the finish.

NV Whole Foods bottle. I know Iíve said it before but man am I glad Iím not gluten intolerant...Boring, pale yellow pour. Aroma started like sweet hops but quickly moves into a weird gym-shoe smell. Itís a BIG flavor but reminds me of alka-seltzer and green apples. Bold, not really good and why in the world is this 8+ ABV?

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The lack of proper malt gives this a real sharp punch with the specialist gluten free. Mild hops give this a fizzy drink

So this gluten-free beer from a 50Ę end-of-stock bin at Binnyís finally lets me tick Nevada off my list of states. Like most GF brews, it pours with a lot of fizz and a fizzy, gluey head that goes away quickly. Pale straw color. It is missing the sour apple smell of a lot of sorghum-based beers. But the smell remaining is mostly mineral water. But the taste just is not worth the trip. Some fizz with stale pear juice and curdled milk from the rice. Some hop bite, at least. But with the new methods for deglutenizing malt beers, this one needs to decide if it wants to stay in the picture.

Pours straw yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grain, lemon, and thatís about it. Not much flavor with no hop bite. Bit of a skunked aftertaste. Thin body. Not much to it.
