12oz can: Pours a clear dark gold with a nice medium white head which leads to nice lacing. The aroma is sweet and piney. The taste is bitter and almost has a rye character. The mouthfeel for the beer seems off. Lighter but still coating. Not sure how else to describe this. I’d want to like this and it’s not horrible but I wouldn’t buy it again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear golden orange with a fluffy white head. Brown sugar, mild pineapple, citric hop notes, and a touch of grass. On the finish there is some noticeable alcohol. Quite sweet and sugary on the palate. Some pine bitterness, grapefruit peel, and a hint of orange. A little bit boozy, maybe some bread and toffee. A touch of perfume as well.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours deep copper/red, thick off-white head, decent to poor lacing. Nose is deep caramel, overripe grapefruit, some damp cardboard, some soap... Flavours are sweeter than expected, smoky caramel, pith, some grass, soap and boiled vegetables. Really not my thing...

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A pale yellow/ gold with a thin white foam. Smells like bread layered in citrus and resin. Low carbonation and light body that has a distinctive pine flavor. No spice but finishes with a slight bitter flavor. Rather boring.

Deep golden orange pour, thin decent layer of creamy off white head and sticky striped lacing ... aroma of chewy caramel malts, citrusy hops, light pine and a little resiny ..... taste of citrusy and light piney hops, mostly chewy caramel malts, little resiny ... nice bitter hop bite that lingers into the finish ... like a cross between an imperial red and dipa ... abv hidden insanely well for 9.3% ... they must have changed their recipe .. nicely done

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma is maybe a bit stale but has notes of grapefruit, mango, citrus, caramel and blackberries. Quite fresh aroma with a nicely malty backbone. Taste is light sweet and medium to high bitter with notes of grass, caramel and biscuit. Medium bodied with a bit high carbonation. OK DIPA, especially for the price ($4).
