Can. Pours a deep orange color with a thin white head. Tangy aroma with a nice, dry, hoppy feel. Nice, tart kick with sweet hops in the background. Excellent balance for a canned double IPA. Very impressive.

15 June 2012. Can. Gold, clear, no bubbles. Nose is sweet orange juice, barley winish, Carmelized syrup. Med body and slightly fizzy. Faintly yeasty, lots of sweet sugar, faint bitter finish. Great all around. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep rich amber color with a big three finger head... Aromas are sweet toffee butterscotch with a touch of pine. On the palate this really is a mess... Butterscotch and alcohol, taste like an overly sweet barley wine that was mixed with a half glass of tap water.... slight bitterness in the finish, other than that where are the hops... again where are the hops ?

Pours a hazy orange/amber with a huge lt tan head....good lacing and retention...only thing they got right. Aroma is sweet butterscotch. Flavor is uber piney butterscotch...what a mess. Mouthfeel is full and oily and the finish is bitter piney butterscotch. Horrendous.

Canned. Poured hazy medium orange with a creamy, well-retained beige head. The aroma picked up orange and other, somewhat dank citrus fruits over some biscuity malts.. not big, but quite enjoyable. The flavor found grapefruit meat, sweet caramel, and biscuity notes at the core.. bitter orange peel and black pepper around.. finished citrusy and bitter, with a nice warm kick. Medium-bodied and a tad grainy on the palate.. balance was good.. this was better than expected, and I’ll have another.

On tap at the Parkway in Tacoma: malty mild IIPA with caramel notes and crispness. Initially not wowed because it wasn't dank, but growing on me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours bright clear gold. Huge fresh nose and big white head. Taste iOS fresh with a nice citrus hop profile. Decent malt balance. I would drink this often if i could find it in tx.

12oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a clear amber with about a finger of thick white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, pine and tropical fruits. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet. Mostly caramel and citrus. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Overall, very good. Not as good as some other beers out there, but I would gladly drink this any day.

Pours orange with a finger white head. Smell is tropical hoppiness, taste is floral, dirty and bitter. Interesting, but nothing special.

12oz bottle. pours out a reddish/brown color. aroma was malt forward with some earthy hops present. malty on the tongue with some blah hop flavor. nothing from this beer reminded me of an imperial ipa. i still would like to try other offerings from them considering they will be opening up shop in Wisconsin soon..
