This Imperial IPA has a large Hop Aroma and sweetness from dark caramel malts. This brew uses Simcoe and Cascade hops and is hopped at 5lbs per barrel. The brew is best enjoyed at 55F.

Pours orange. Turpentine nose. Not horrible turpentine intended was hops I am sue but a little to solvent. Taste ok but the solvent overkilled it. I can see the intent but may be to old.

Pours a just barely amber gold. Nice head of white bubbles. Aroma is subtle bet pleasant. Sweet malt with some piney hops. Decently balanced taste that nods sour, actually a big nod. Palate is clean with some sticky. Hardly imperial.

Can poured a golden amber color with a thick one finger head. Aroma has malts, bitterness, resins, and an odd earthy thing. Mouth feel is medium with good carbonation. Flavor has an off balance, malted, resins, pines, hefty on the hops, and some bitterness into the finish. Just ok.

Have to say for an imperial IPA, it's kinda lackluster, does have an even amount of malt and hops but it fails to give off a extra punch of either, though strong it hides it's abv very well, not a session, drink carefully ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2015 22 bomber to cervoise. Pours cloudy gold. Creamy/frothy off white head. Aroma is big. Grapefruit rind, pine, cedar, resin, grass, caramel, and floral. Taste is caramel malts, butterscotch, booze, citrus and all blended very well. Finish is grapefruit, caramel, butterscotch, and bitter that doesn?t last too long for an IIPA.

Really nice drink. Thanks kathouse. Pours a hazy light peach colour. Really nice fresh herbal and spicy hop notes. Some fresh fruit too. Nice earthy and musty flavours.. Very balanced and the hops are nicely restrained. No booze detected. Pretty great stuff.

12 oz can Slightly hazy pale amber body with a decent head and some sticky lacing. Quite hoppy, in line with the DIPA style. Fruity and piney/resiny qualities.

From a 12 oz can. Hazy yellow orange body with a small head of white bubbles with nice lacing down the glass. Big grapefruit hop aroma with a bit of caramel to tame the aggressive hops. Somewhat underwhelming hop flavors for an imperial ipa,but still very evident. Bitter grapefruit rinds, subtle florals and a bit of caramel.

Bottle from shop on the Strip Vegas - hazy gold with a thick lacy white head. Aroma seems a nice balance of citrus hops and sweet malt. Hoppy bitter flavour well balanced with malts. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some alcohol warmth. I usually prefer less balanced (more hoppy bitterness), but this is very good.
