Deep golden color with a huge foamy whitish head. Bitter hoppiness, earthy, dirty, leading to a thin finish. Not as strong as the alcohol content would lead you to believe.

Tasted from a bottle received as a trading extra. Pours a clear light brown with very little head, but just decent lace. The nose is caramel malt with good fruitiness, featuring mostly dried fruits, and a nice grapefruit hop aroma that sneaks in under everything else. The flavor has some sweetness up front, but is a little more bitter than expected from the nose with the citrus and almost raisin fruitiness coming through as well. The body is fairly full, but has somewhat of a watery texture with very little carbonation and a long bitter and fruity finish.

Poured from a can. Deeply golden with a lasting froth. Smells very fresh and piny with a touch sweetness. Full on the tongue with a silky, creamy texture. This high octane brew is a classic. High hop rate, fat malt body with an excellent sense of freshness. Pour me another will ya?

Yellow brown reddish in color... Sweet syrupy aroma... Flavor is fairly sweet, burnt caramel malt, finish is not very bitter, mild spicy hop finish... Not the best

Clear amber with 2" of white head. Aroma is sweet and intense with juicy red grapefruit hop nose. Taste is much less sweet and juicy, with grassy herbal hop bitterness. $3/12ozcan

Dusty herbal nose. White pepper and biscuit with some tropical fruit in the mouth. Pretty thick. Rough

12 oz can. Pours hazy orange with a thick cream-colored head with great retention. Aroma is packed full of caramel malt and a hint of cooked vegetables. Smells too malty. Taste starts out sweet before a big bitterness sets in. No hop flavors, just bitterness. Not a fan of malty IPAs like this.

Bottle. Pours deep copper/red, thick off-white head, decent to poor lacing. Nose is deep caramel, overripe grapefruit, some damp cardboard, some soap... Flavours are sweeter than expected, smoky caramel, pith, some grass, soap and boiled vegetables. Really not my thing...

Pours a copper gold color with a cream colored head. Lots of maltiness and citrus hops in the nose. Taste is sweet and bitter. Its a good DIPA, but I’ve had better.

Can. Pours amber with no head and some floaties. Stale hop aroma, alcohol overly present. Flavor like a bad barleywine, really sticky sweet and surprising lack of hops despite being moderately fresh.
