Poured from a can. Deeply golden with a lasting froth. Smells very fresh and piny with a touch sweetness. Full on the tongue with a silky, creamy texture. This high octane brew is a classic. High hop rate, fat malt body with an excellent sense of freshness. Pour me another will ya?

Smells like a mixture of grapefruit and molasses-very strange but nice. Not much head. This is a good beer. Hoppy but not overly bitter till the very end. Best beer yet from JJ. And the first Iíd buy in the store.

Draught at The Pub Monte Carlo in Las Vegas. I had never heard of this brewery before and this beer is one of those rare gems that you come across, no expectations, just drink and see. There was a bold fruity hop aroma bursting out of the glass. The flavour was great and right up there with the best IPAís tha I have had. The flavour was well balanced and not overpowering in the hop department.

Just had the freshest batch of this beer shipped to me from a friend in Vegas, and I really enjoyed this beer. A Nice even pour with a small amount of head (i usually enjoy a bit more) and had a great orange/amber color. a great balanced flavor, which is great for those who donít like to be punched in the face with a stong bitter flavor, donít get me wrong, there is a lot going on, it is just all even flavors. A touch more hops would be nice, but nowhere near necessary. Overall, for Imperial IPAís being my favorite type of beer, this is one i will be able to drink consistently.

Very solid head that last. Actually impressive how long this head endures. Nice hop aroma. This was from a can, as soon as its popped, the aroma comes clear. Taste is sweet with a Hop punch at the end... Citrus herb. Excellent Job. As good as some great IPAís from Great Divide.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a clear amber with about a finger of thick white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, pine and tropical fruits. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet. Mostly caramel and citrus. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Overall, very good. Not as good as some other beers out there, but I would gladly drink this any day.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured this at a good temperature with a mammoth, foamy, frothy, thick, cream-colored head that settled very slowly and plenty of lace. Color is a clear amber with many bubble trails. Aroma is mainly fresh hop composed of citrus and then resin. Canít hardly smell much else. Flavorís like nose, fairly dry, mostly bitter with complimentary carbonic tang. Body is a bit thin and carbonation is decent. Finish is like flavor with bitterness being very long; not much sign of the alcohol. Too bitter without the balance for me.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Hazy, amber body with a small, off-white head, lasting, rings of lace, slowly sparkling. Aroma is sweet, fruity with hops like pineapple, citrus, floral, smells a bit like baked brown bread. Body is medium-full with a touch of creamy carbonation and a dry finish. A bit sticky on the lips. Flavor is moderately sweet to start and then followed by a significant amount of hops, thoroughly besting a rather strong malt backbone. Slightly astringent on finish of hop oil, citrus and a touch of pineapple. While I love the tropical-esque hops, this beer really isnít very exciting or fresh-tasting...but still worth a shot.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz can pours clear copper with tall tan head of foam. The aroma offers up resiny hops, pine hops and thin hints of thick sweet maltiness off in the background. The taste begins with a hit of booze and resiny bitter pine hops before it moves into more hop flavor and still firm hop bitterness with grapefruit and lemon peel notes. Behind all of the hops is a bit of sweet malts that create nice base for this big somewhat boozy resiny bitter beer. All in all this is pretty darn good for the style.
