Can from Malt & Vine. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Light noble hop aroma. Med body. Flavor is lightly bready with a small amount of hop. Seems slightly gummy.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy aroma with some light sweetness. The flavor has grain, straw, and a light sweetness. Not bad.

12-oz can. Pours a crystal clear pale amber with a loose white film across the top. Nitrogenous nose, a little buttery, a little toasty. Fizzy lightish body. Corn nuts, toast, and old laundry on the mid palate. Mild finish.

Bottle from NV Whole Foods. Really nice looking with a big, white, pillowy head. Aroma is a little off with something akin to Playdough? Flavor is...fine but boring. Maybe a little too much carbonation.

12oz bottle thanks to here4beer. Pours a hazy yellow with a huge overflowing creamy white head. Aroma of yeast, spice, and banana. Taste similar to aroma, would swear this is a Hefeweizen, so much so I opened the JJ Hefe to see, they’re different.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 8/17/11

Aroma: The nose has some lemon and floral hops with a bit of yeast and some corn too
Appearance: It pours into the glass a rusty yellow color with a fairly small white head
Flavor: Tastes lightly sweet, some corn and yeast, light hop bitterness and a touch of funk
Palate: The body is fairly light, it is a touch thin, but with a decent mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: This was an OK lager, it had a decent flavor to it, it isn’t great, but it is semi-servicable. So far, out of the 4 things I’ve tried from these guys, Joseph James seems to me to make mostly mediocre crap.

Thanks to Destral for this 12oz bottle poured into my Bruery tulip... Pours a clear dark gold, looks pretty good. The head is bright white but light and watery, only a bit of a ring, light lacing... Sweet generic corn, alcohol somehow, a little floral hops, a little skunk. Could be worse... The taste is very sweet with light floral hops. A slightly bitter skunk finish. Not bad for an adjunt but nothing that I can justify drinking a bunch of.
