22oz bomber pours with a deep dark body that supports a dark tan to sort of mocha colored head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, charred mushrooms, a touch of molasses and then more and more chocolate as it warms. The taste is similar with firm levels of roasted malts, burnt malts, some chocolate and a bit of sweet molasses in the background. Nice rich roasty brew but I actually enjoy a bit of sweet dark fruity esters in this style. I didn’t get that here. Still nice though.

Bomber from King’s Liquor in Anaheim. Pours dark brown/black with a tan head. Caught a whiff of anise cracking the bottle. However, just chocolate and dark malt from the glass for aroma. Med + body. Flavor is chocolate and dark malt. Pretty dry, but not entirely. Gets a bit chalky in the finish. Pretty tasty ale.

650ml bottle. Not sure on the age of it but this just seems like a stale insipid brew.

This beer was good just not real memorable. A nice stout flavor but a bit of tinny notes that take away. Okay.

Dark brown pour with small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and slight hops. Taste of roasted malts, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa and faint hop bitterness. Medium bodied, a little thin on the mouthfeel, nice carbonation. Very simple beer but very enjoyable.

Draft at Pig and Pickle. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Nice rosted notes of the nose. A lot of roasted malt and darje chocolate in the tongue. Unfortunately the finish tastes like someone burned thus one which kind of ruins the effect for me.

Nicely done. Pours deep brown with a tan head. Aroma is primarily coffee/chocolate. A bit thin in mouth, finishes slightly burnt/biter.

On draught at Khoury’s in Henderson, NV. Pours a brownish-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and a bit of briny hops. The finish is roasty with a malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
