Bottle bought at random liquor store in Las Vegas. Opaque, black liquid with small mocca head. Aroma of coffee, licorice, dark chocolate, fruity yeast esters and tar. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of coffee, ash, licorice and fruity hops. Medium bodied with a bit high carbonation and velvety, smooth mouthfeel. Good for a $4 bomber.

Bottle poured a translucent dark reddish brown nearly black with a lasting brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, dark fruit and light carmel. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, light coffee, light dark fruit and a hint of licorice with a smooth lingering bitter chocolate finish.

opened this 12oz bottle, then went to get my glass. OOPS, foam over. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is roasty dark malt-cocoa/molasses. Taste is Sour cherry, roasty dark malt-cocoa/molasses, earthy hops. Lively carbonation for the style. Dont think they were trying for a chocolate covered cherry...

12oz bottle. Lively gushing pour. Opaque brown-black with a rusty orange head. Pretty well balanced and drinkable Imperial Stout. A solid milk chocolate flavor, with a respectable hop balance. Big and rich, but not quite overbearing and undrinkable. Some light coffee tones, dry bitterness. Thick and hefty, a solid offering.

Bottle:   Black, large frothy beige head, spotty lacing.   Faint roastiness, otherwise a bit mealy with a sour fruitiness.   Up front its a metallic sourness that is hard to get past.   Backside reminds me of stale fruit, earthy wood crates, astringent metallic rusty nail like flavors.   There is a roastiness from start to finish, but holy piss is this not only metallic and sour, its like bile.   Yeah, pouring this sh*t out.   Avoid at all costs!

Tap. Pours opaque with a small, fizzy tan head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is peat, roast and chocolate malt, prunes and licorice with earthy and alcohol notes. Flavor is malt dominant, almost syrupy sweet, light peat and smoke malt with a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.
