Black as a Siberian night and topped with a thick coffee foam head. Modest chocolate and coffee notes, with a pleasant sweetness. Quite smooth smelling grains for an imperial stout. Again, the body is surprisingly smooth. No real rough edges to the coffee and chocolate notes. Chocolate liquor underpinning. Dangerously smooth and with some pricks of dark chocolate on the finish. A touch of cherry cordial.

Sometimes you get what you pay for... A RIS (?) bomber for $3... Hey I am glad to know that a Russian Imperial Stout is a dark ale. Bomber bottle served in a snifter. Something is really off about this beer and I am just not talking about the moderate brown hue either... There is a combination soy sauce and funky barnyard tone that I am sure is NOT intended. Really just a weak arse excuse for a stout. A 1973 Pinto in an Aston Martin world — feeling sick.

Dark brown/black color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted sweet malt, cocoa, some dark fruit, & coffee; Flavor of roasted sweet malt, caramel, chocolate, hops, and soy sauce; Taste was a bit off.

22 oz bottle. Pours black with a decent tan head. A really funky aroma that was hard for me to get over. A lot of roasted coffee and malt. Finishes a little sweet, but short. Not my favorite.

Bottle @ home via rotter and trade with Ibrew2or3. Thanks. Pours a deep brown appearance with a thin dark brown head. A ton of roast in the nose. Some coffee and earthy bitterness. Moderate amount of chocolate. Low to moderate carbonation. Some bitterness in the flavor but not all that bad. Plenty of chocolate. Earth and roast. Drink pretty decent. Nothing crazy good but pretty well balanced.

Pours an opaque, very dark brown with an ample, creamy. mocha head. Creamy chocolate followed by coffee in the aroma. Thick, but not viscous. Smokiness dominates in the flavor. Chocolate and coffee are also noted. Could use a little more depth.

Dark beer with only hints of mahogany when held up against the light. This foamy beige head. Nose with lots of chocolate, caramel corn and alcohol. The flavor is dominated by the coffee and bitter chocolate, with some molasses and burnt sugar sweetness and some licorice. The abv is obvious and a little big as it warms. Nice big impy stout.

Very carbonated - fills a pint glass with a quarter bottle. Flavor is good once you let the foam settle.

Nice stout. Smooth. A tad thick but not too much. Roasty. A hint of sweetness. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
