2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tasted from draft. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, banana. Taste is a little banana and floral notes. A little skunkiness. Crisp and light on the palate. Not my favorite Hefeweizen by any means.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
"i bought this for sh-ts and giggles. JJames beers, new to Reno in 2009, all pretty much sucked when the distributor gave us a sample. this is the first new one i’ve seen. though i expected little, i was open to the possibility that it could be good...you just never know. that optimism evaporated when i popped the top, though. the aroma was a little bubblegummy and a touch of clove, but like some of the others, was generic, kit-like, and had a little extra something that was "off". i had to pour vigorously to get any head, which ended up thin white soda like. cloudy yellow with floaties due to the pour. how does it have prickly carbonation yet taste flat and have practically no head? flavor is the strong point and would have potential if they didn’t make this a "lite". still generic, kit-like, but refreshing enough to make it good enough to avoid the drain."

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ home via trade. I can’t remember who sent this to me, but thanks ! Pours a hazy, light yellow appearance with a thin off white head. Aroma is pretty mild- some candy / cotton candy / bubblegum notes. A little bit of citrus. Nothing overwhelming in the smell. Kind of tart and spritzy flavor. Some hay / straw / herbal notes. Kind of juicy. A touch of veggie. A little dull. Kind of strange but not overly bad.

4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22floz/650ml bottle into a weizen glass; served cold.
Aroma: Lots of yeast. A little spice.
Appearance: Super hazy yellow-orange body with a moderate, but dissipating, white head.
Taste: Wow! Lots of flavor in this one. Lots of cloves. There’s definitely some banana too, and a little tartness to round it out. So much flavor!!
Palate: Light-medium body, short finish that ends on spice.
Overall: Such a fantastic hefe. It is bursting at the seams with wonderful flavors.

The aroma is off with corn grains and Herbs. The appearance is hazy gold. The taste is a bit like wheat with some corn. The palate is smooth. Overall not the best of the style.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Total Wine. Wheat glass. Very cloudy, unfiltered pour with thick head. Aroma was banana and cloves with a yeasty sourness. Taste was amazingly bland. The aroma doesn’t even come through in taste. It was a simple carbonated mouth and a dry finish. Pretty boring beer.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz bottle 5/18/13 (Binny’s Naperville) my bottle says 5% ABV-42° in Weizen-Pours a slightly hazy golden with a big loose white head. Aroma of banana, clove, and yeast. Taste of the same with a lot of sourness. This light bodied brew is either infected or something has terribly gone wrong.
