22oz bottle 5/18/13 (Binny’s Naperville) my bottle says 5% ABV-42° in Weizen-Pours a slightly hazy golden with a big loose white head. Aroma of banana, clove, and yeast. Taste of the same with a lot of sourness. This light bodied brew is either infected or something has terribly gone wrong.

Bottle: Light ’cheap’ hefeweizen. This this even a style? Watery, plain, simple. Waste of malt.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lating white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast and citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, yeast and lemon with a crisp lingering lemon finish.

22 oz bottle pours a cloudy golden color with a white head of very fine bubbles and a little lacing. Aroma is full of wheat bread, lemon and cloves, with a little banana. Body is light with lively carbonation. Taste is more sour than bitter, which ruins this one for me.

The white foam and hazy pale yellow color is typical of a Hefeweizen. Lots of banana and clove along with grainy wheat malt make up the aroma. Flavor is tart, sweet, and dry. My wife didn’t like it at all. I thought it was ok. Finish was light but didn’t clean up well.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a decent banana and clove. Flavor is is wow super tart and sour. Finish is again sour. This had to be infected at some point but other rates seem to have gotten the same thing. Started out good but went down hill fast.

Aroma is spices and an off aroma, possibly old or oxidated. The flavor is citrus, lemon, bananas and a mildly tartness/sourness that lasts into the finish. Thin and not incredibly interesting but not nasty.
