Clear golden pour with a white head. Nose is a little bit grainy and corny. Sweet malt, sugar, yeast, and some apple esters. Light sulfur, floral hops, spice, and grass. The flavor is kind of sulfury and maybe a touch of metal on the finish. Sweet grain, corn, and bread. Light biscuit, grass, floral hops, and hints of yeast and apple esters.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Aubrey (3339) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - FEB 14, 2013
Clear gold. Multi-sized bubbles in the head; faded fast. Rounded sweetness (honey) and somewhat fruity (pear). Herbal, earthy, wholesome. Only mildly bitter; not quite enough. Not necessarily bad, but kind of vapid and unexciting.

Pours light gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Caramel and bread aromas. Dry with sweet hay and caramel upfront turning to earthy sourdough before the mildly bitter finish.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 nearbeer (3040) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 20, 2012
12 oz. Clear golden with a lasting ring of cream. Nose is honey, creamed corn and dried grass. Taste is the same with some crisp hay and a dry grassy and grain finish. Near-medium body is sweet and has light medium carbonation. Sucks as a Bohemian Pilsner, and pretty much sucks as any other style besides corn beer.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nik925 (694) - California, USA - NOV 2, 2012
They are serious about the aroma and appearance for a lager. If I new nothing about beer this could easily pass for an ale. Lots of flavor, no metallic-ness. Fruit flavors and a solid malt really support this beer. I see that I am about to hit a Pilsner with a 3, which should put it in the top 90%, but as a beverage, it all adds up. I’m confused.

Pours a hazy golden color with a one finger head that quickly dissipates leaving no lacing. Robust toasted malt flavor and a little breadiness to it. Slight herbal hop flavor, but this is largely malt driven. Medium body with medium carbonation as well. Medium finish. Honestly, not all that bad!
