Pours a hazy golden color with a one finger head that quickly dissipates leaving no lacing. Robust toasted malt flavor and a little breadiness to it. Slight herbal hop flavor, but this is largely malt driven. Medium body with medium carbonation as well. Medium finish. Honestly, not all that bad!

Crystal clear light golden with a thin white head and plenty of lacing. Highly carbonated. A little tart and acidic. Tastes grassy and floral. Very balanced and quite pleasant.

Pedestrian label, standard longneck. Clear, bright citrine beer with a wispy white head. Light, grainy-sweet lager malt aroma. Grainy, slightly sweet, oat tones, a little olive brine in the flavor. Crisp mouthfeel, medium to slightly light body, eurohops cling just a tad in the aftertaste. TJ’s Tallahassee.

Tallahassee, Fl - Trader Joe’s - 12 oz bottle. Sparkling medium golden pour, soft, thin white head, no lacing. Aroma has some bready accents, a touch of spent grain. Classic lager flavor, a touch of bready maltiness, a touch of honey sweetness. Crisp mouthfeel. Pretty decent and a great price at TJ’s ($1.17).

6-Pack from Trader Joes’s. Non distinct aroma and appearance. Classic medium body with a nice white head. Taste is hops with hints of corn, pine and a slightly seer caramel finish. Drinks easy, not bad especially given the price.

Trader Joes bottle - 12oz. Poured a clear golden color with a pretty large white head. Aroma was notes of toasted malts, light grassy hops, some earthy notes. Flavor was grassy hops, light grain. Middle of the road. Great value though for what you’re getting.

12 oz bottle. BB 02/18/15. (Trader Joe’s) Greenville, SC.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Grassy hops, moderate bitterness and grainy malt in the aroma. The flavour is cardboardy malt, grassy hops and some bitterness. Not the worst Pilsener but a bit cardboardy.

"more refreshing than the vienna lager, and therefore better. nothing that’ll blow you away, but for $5 a six-pack? i’ll give that a light recommendation."

355ml Bottle. So TJ’s markets 2 different czech pilseners. This one is a biiit on the lighter side for a bohemian lager, nice qhite head, large carbonation bubbles. Smell is sweet with pie crust and spices, dense malt character underneath. Flavor is spicy and bready, fairly dry with a mild but noticeable noble bitterness. Bit of bittersweetness in the finish that reminds you it is czech and not a german pils. Its good for what it is, a toastier, maltier alternative to Urquell.
