Clear gold. Multi-sized bubbles in the head; faded fast. Rounded sweetness (honey) and somewhat fruity (pear). Herbal, earthy, wholesome. Only mildly bitter; not quite enough. Not necessarily bad, but kind of vapid and unexciting.

Bottle - fair size foamy head, medium straw color, sweet mild malt aroma and flavor, mild earthy hops, crisp finish, ok overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Leans towards the malty side of things. Nutty, caramel, earthy. Really lacking in that hoppy dry finish I would expect from the style.

Purchased at Trader Joe under the name JosephsBrau Bohemian Style lager. Pours a golden colour with a very slight unfiltered hazy. The head is mildly warm, nice lasting with some decent lacing. After having the Pilzn, I find this one pretty close to it, but the hops are different. Cereal grain aromas with some sweetness. The taste starts off a little hoppy with some bread in the middle and sweetness lingering. Not bad but a little to rich to have many of these.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is buttered biscuit, fruit, and yeast. The taste is butter, biscuit, fruit, honey, and yeast. There’s a nice creamy and carbonated balance. This was surprisingly good.

Clear, pale orangish gold with a little white head. Malty, lightly hoppy, but not a great pilsner. Just okay.

Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI. Pale gold, slight haze. Corn and spice aroma. Sweet, very mild with more sweet honey and faint white pepper. Lingering metallic finish.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity honey nose. The flavor is light sweet malts, sort of metallic and dirty. Light. Ok.

Gold pour, decent white head at first. Nose is straight ahead malt. Little more sweet than bitter. Middle is bread, hay, little hard fruit. Finish is still malty sweet.. OK.

12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe’s. It pours a nice clear, rich golden color with a white head. The aroma has lots of honeyed pale malt with hints of herbal, earthy hops. The flavor is pretty much the same with slight apple hints, honey and herbal hop flavor and bitterness. Really nice medium bodied and rich on the palate for the style. I liked this.

12 oz bottle, from 6 pack, from Trader Joe’s for around $6 for six-pack, sign said "$1.08/bottle"

Aroma: Czech hops, spicy, maybe Saaz, but definitely spicy hops

Appearance: Golden, clear, white head

Taste: light bitterness

Palate: light body, thin texture, average carbonation, bitter finish

Overall: I’m a big fan of Saaz hops, but I haven’t had a lot of Bohemian Style Lagers, so when I saw this for $6 at Trader Joes I had to grab it. Good price. The taste doesn’t necessarily scream Saaz, maybe some other hops used, but it’s not a bad lager by any means. Good value for money. Has an almost bubblegum quality to taste, maybe from yeast or maybe from using other hops. Nice light bodied lager.
