Poured from bottle into Pint glass. Pours a murky amber with a one-inch light off-white head. The Aroma is light banana and clove. There are a lot of similar flavors in the taste with banana and clove. The mouthfeel is very light and bubbly and a bit dry in the finish which is nice. Overall its a nice dunkelweizen for the money. Wheats for the most part are just not my thing though so I probably wouldn’t purchase again.

Pours a very hazy and cloudy orange and brown with a lingering off white head. Aroma is very heavy banana and yeasty with a lot of clove, perhaps a bit too sweet and estery but still pleasant. Flavor starts with a mellow fruit character with a slightly lemon and overripe banana character. Just a hint of spice in the middle and finishing very sweet with a caramel malt character. Almost no bitterness. Medium body and an active tickling carbonation. Not the best dunkelweis but the style is so good and it was darn good with a sausage, baked bean and corn on the cob dinner

Bottle... Poured cloudy maroonish brown with a beige head. Aroma of sweet yeasts and ester notes. Light, refreshing palate. Clove-like flavors with smooth malts and fruity notes. Very crisp, and refreshing, easy to drink on a hot day with a mild, bitter tangyness in the finish.

Pours a murky murky brown with an off white head. Banana and clove in the nose, maybe some bread, chocolate and a twinge of sulfur. Flavor is yeasty and estery, banana, spice, Finish kind of falls about into watery grain.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Cloudy orange-chestnut brown pour with not much head. Sweet caramel, some chocolate notes, but mostly banana and clove. Nothing to write home about, but not bad, either. One of the better $1 beers one can get at Trader Joes.

Bottle. Poured a large, pillowy, off-white head. Hazy, amber body with abundant yeast clouds. Nice aroma. Caramel, banana and clove. Tasted of caramel malt, some biscuit, and a little prune. Nice, balanced esthers and phenols from the yeast - banana, clove as well as some cinnamon and nutmeg. Palate was creamy with soft carbonation. Unfortunately sour and tart finish. Overall a nice Dunkelweizen. Could be better if the sourness was eliminated and the tartness was reduced.

Pours as it should. Murky medium brown with a tall, long lasting off-white head. Nice banana nose. Sweet malt start with a big wheat bite at the end. A smooth easy drinking Dunkelweizen.
