Flavor doesn’t match the visual and the aromas unfortunately. Detected some burned toffee but not a whole lot else- sweet and a bit watery. Not bad, but nothing special. stoutchap (297), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Wheat and malts on the tongue. Pretty unremarkable. Not bad, just boring. BrewDad (2366), Olympia, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 1, 2008 Cloudy brown cidery appearance with plush foam head that is slightly tanned. Nice yeasty aroma of mild chocolate and wheat and clove with a tiny bit of banana. Quite well-rounded and pleasing. Easy flavor of wheat and yeast with perfect medium body. Mild phenolics. Flavor tails off a bit and finishes on a green banana note. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2008 [Bottle, thanks JK] Pours hazy amber-brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is big on yeast with some banana also present. Taste is largely the same but with more malt than what I noticed in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a long finish. A fairly average, but enjoyable beer. BDR (2155), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
