Bottle. Pours a pretty honey orange with virtually no head. Sweet aroma of pear, honey, toffee, caramel. Flavor bright with red apple, but sweet with caramel. Just a bit of bitterness on the back end, like apple skin. Body is nice and solid, verging on porter territory. Finishes clean with a little bit of that apple skin. I really, really like this, and I’m really surprised by the reaction here to it. Super affordable and good.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear light brown brew with tan head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, some complexity in the malt notes, and simple light grassy hops. Taste is standard issue Oktoberfest - slightly sweet up front with a decent degree of hops in the finish. Its not a standout but holds its own and compares favorably to more prominent brands. Pretty good.

From the bottle. Malty aroma, light head, medium carbonation. Golden copper color. Sweet malt up front, light bitter hop finish that fades quickly. Easy drinking beer.

Copper gold tint, clear beer with a light foamy white lace ring head. Aroma is vienna malt. Flavor is light and bitter with a medium malt backbone. It was almost gone before I could rate it.

bottle. Amber with one finger head. Not as bad as the heller bock, but fairly mediocre. Light to medium body with caramel malt and light nuttiness. I think a few more hops would go a long way here.

Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours an amber colour with a very slight haze. The head is warm, lasts a good time and creates thick lacing. The aromas are mild but with a nice blend of cereal, caramel and hints of fruity malts. The taste is a little sweeter, fruitier, but still malty. Hints of spices, decent bitterness. A little apples. Not a bad beer overall and better than their Bohemian lager.

Gordon Biersch is one of the best German style breweries in America & the repackage here is an amazing deal. Great malty beer w/toasty overtones from the Munich malt.

Lots of paint thinner and rust in this. Pours amber with ok head. Finishes pretty astringent. Not a great package. Bottle.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweet brioche dough and brown sugar, taste is sweet, grainy, some maple, white pepper, bit of acidity. Metallic, harsh finish. Unrefined and pretty bad.

Has a nice, candy-caramel-malt aroma with just a little implied spice. Then the beer hits the skids, pretty much. Standard longneck, rather plain branding. Clear, light rusty color with a thin, ringing white head. Grainy astringency, dark syrups and sugars, spargewater. Tinny/tangy, moderately sweet, low bittering. Medium body. Meh. Trader Joe’s, Tallahassee.
