Bottle. Poured a clear straw color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Medium floral grainy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet dry finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.

brokensail (11532) - Orange County, California, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Clear golden pour with a tall white head. Nice biscuit malt aroma, sweet bread, and yeast. However, there are some strong grass notes, a weird grainy quality, and some apple. Flavor is on the sweet side with a lot of grain and biscuit notes. Moderate apple, heavy grass, and a bit of yeast. Slight bitterness on the finish.

Golden pour with frothy white head. Strong aroma of yeasty malts and bread followed by hints of citrus and coriander. Simple and thin on the palate. Fizzy with an abrupt finish. No alcohol presence.

Scrapersnbeer (1491) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 8, 2012
Soapy sweet malt aroma, grass rather than skunk. Pale yellow with light haze. Flavor is more or less bitter, though not in a hoppy way. Relatively crisp, not up to the sharpness levels expected for Bohemian beer. Great for discount beer...not so much for Pilsners.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Pours a decent lively yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is sewer-esque hay and grass in rank biscuit dough. Flavor is a pleasant and light hay with grassy honey and light toast. Average mouthfeel. Stinks but tastes all right.

bottled, clear golden yellow color with white head, aroma and flavor of decent bready lemon pils, non metallic finish, inoffensive

Dark yellow, thin fragile head. Grainy, soapy aroma. Hops hops in the flavor, plus some soap, grain, and cardboard. Not that great...

Not rating by style, so this lands in the low 1s. Clean and crisp (I guess those count as flavors). Bigger than expected, though just more poor beer flavor. I don’t really know how to chew into this...based upon the beers I had before and after, this is forgettable.

Wittales (647) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Appearance was clear pale gold with creamy diminishing white 1 finger head, lacing throughout. Aromas are sweet pils malt , slight toffee, rice, soft spicey, mild citrus hops. Taste was sweet pils malt backbone then slight woody, earthy, spicey lemony soft hops. Palate are crispy smooth CO2 with light-meduim body, then dryish medinical average length lemony finish. Good effort, maybe...

12 oz. Mostly clear, and golden with a lasting half inch of spongy foam. Clean crisp nose of grassy hops and a touch of honey and lightly toasted grain. Taste is more caramel and toasted grain on the front with the dry grassy hop coming in towards the end, along with a touch of lemon and resin. Medium bodied, with an excellent balance and smoothly carbonated. Easy drinking and an excellent American rendition of the grand old style.
