2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours amber with a fully receding head. Notes of sweet caramel, thick chewy malt, syrup, coarse, bitter, lightly resinous. Full bodied, sweet with soft carbonation. A bit too sticky sweet for my liking.

Malty and smooth. Pretty sweet with just a touch of hops to balance out. A lingering sweetness. I didn’t detect much spice. Hides the alcohol well.

Faint aroma of caramel malt. Clear orange red amber color with tan head that dissipates quickly. Rich caramel, bready malt up front....stale. Finishes with sweet bitterness that lasts a little. Very average.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the 355 ml. bottle. The pour is a handsome looking but rather carbonated medium amber-copper with a short-lived head. The aroma is of sweet malts, biscuit malts, caramel malts, and other malts that I can’t think of at the moment. Yup -malts are what you get on the nose. The body is actually rather creamy and around medium. The taste is quite malty sweet but little else. Clean finish.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes leaving no lacing. Sweet caramel and roasted nut aromas. Sweet toffee and caramel upfront turning dry in the lasting slightly hot doughy finish.
