COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prost means "cheers" in German- a gesture of friendship and an enjoyment of the moment. Our Maibock style lager is brewed just like the celebratory beer traditionally served at the May festivals: rich and malty, with slightly spicy notes from the Hallertau and Tettnang hops. ALC 7.3% BY VOL and 26 bitterness units.

Steady copper, 1 finger head. Nose is malt, and then some malt. Middle is light caramel, coco, and dark bread. Finish is fresh bread with a thin layer of hop jam

Truth in labeling: "Rich and malty" says it all! Orangish pour with a creamy beige head that lasts the duration. Very frothy. Yummy maltyness, caramel, bakery. A tad over hopped. The bitterness overpowers the luscious malt flavor. It should be toned down 10-20%. Otherwise this is quite excellent. bottle. Worth every cent and more of the $1 paid @ Trader Joes.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Dark amber in color. Somewhat sweet nose with a toasted malt aroma. Quite sweet up front. Pretty sweet throughout. Light bitterness in the finish. No balance to tone down the sweetness.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange pour with a small white head. Grain, bread, honey, malt. Simple but okay.

Pours a bright golden with a full frothy white head. Aroma is bread dough and a bit of spice. Taste is sweet pale malt, bread dough (again), spicy mild hops and a little metallic character that is not bad. An interesting, and well balanced rendition of the style.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Trader Joe’s. It pours a rich, golden orange color with a thin off white head. The aroma is full with sweet, honey like maltiness and background floral, herbal hops. The flavor is similarly rich with honey malts and floral hops. Well balanced malt to hop character. Pretty heavy on the palate, which is my only complaint. Otherwise, a pretty nice bock.

Pours amber with a fully receding head. Notes of sweet caramel, thick chewy malt, syrup, coarse, bitter, lightly resinous. Full bodied, sweet with soft carbonation. A bit too sticky sweet for my liking.

Malty and smooth. Pretty sweet with just a touch of hops to balance out. A lingering sweetness. I didn’t detect much spice. Hides the alcohol well.

Faint aroma of caramel malt. Clear orange red amber color with tan head that dissipates quickly. Rich caramel, bready malt up front....stale. Finishes with sweet bitterness that lasts a little. Very average.

Bottle. Thanks to adnielsen. Pours a copper color with white head. Caramel, malty, clean flavors.
