Pretty darn good. Refreshing not too bittewr but it aint mild. THis style isn’t as well known as it should be and I do agree that if this was an import people would be rating it higher. A good drink!

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with very little head. Nice clean lager smell to it. Actually tastes very clean and easy. Really a nice brew, actually.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 sethdude (653) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 31, 2009
A nice Kolsch, underrated here IMO. Pours golden, thin white head and light lacing. Aroma is semi-sweet, malty with lots of hop pepper. Flavor is initially pale malts, a peppery hop note, a mild lemony note, bready warmth, and a bitter snap from the hops into a slightly spicy finish. Crisp, clean, and refreshing. I love this style, and this is a good example. Probably underrated due to the brand, which is unfortunate.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JK (3966) - Uptown, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 4, 2009
Trader Joes. This is surprisingly good. Lacing head. Moderate carbonation and a gold colored beer. There is yeast and malt. Llightly hopped. Pretty solid, all considered. Good palate.
3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jabic (295) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Ar: Almost devoid of aroma - just a touch of sulfur.
Ap: Brilliant clear orange - medium frothy off-white head with good retention and a nice trail of lacing.
T: Malty and clean - very low bitterness, with a lingering cracker flavor.
P: Medium-bodied with medium carbonation - crisp on the palate and finish is dry, but never feels thin.
O: Really nice kolsch - malty, clean, and absolutely beautiful to look at - really nice finish, too.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (6952) - London, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2010
Bottle. Pours honey-gold with a thin, white head. Light fruit aroma with some metallic notes and crisp malt. Flavor has mild grain sweetness to begin, then some metal, then finishes with nice hop bite. Light to medium in mody with heavy carbonation. Finishes with good hoppiness, the earthiness of which lingers for a while. Very good beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 illinismitty (2270) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 29, 2009
Bottle from Trader Joes. Pours golden with a dissipating white head, not much carbonation bubbles. Pleasant aroma of lemonade, fruity esters, and light grains. Light bodied and refreshing with no wateriness. Flavor of biscuit and citrus countered by a tame spicy bitterness. Crisp finish with just a very small hint of clove. A little bold for a Kolsch, but this is actually a very nice and drinkable beer, and a value at 5.99. I would bet that many people would score this higher in a blind taste test.
