2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20single Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Pours golden with a dissipating white head, not much carbonation bubbles. Pleasant aroma of lemonade, fruity esters, and light grains. Light bodied and refreshing. Flavor of biscuit and citrus countered by a tame spicy bitterness. Crisp finish with just a very small hint of hop. for a Kolsch style it did not hit the mark with me.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with very little head. Nice clean lager smell to it. Actually tastes very clean and easy. Really a nice brew, actually.

Bottle. Floral malt aroma. Medium yellow with moderate head. Sweet corny malt and moderately bitter herbal flavor. Another less than stellar beer from Trader Joes.

As a kölsch, this beer succeeds. It has a very anemic hop presence, and where it is you smell lemon and pomelo. Grain is a basic barley with a buttered white bread quality to it.
Appearance is consistent if nothing else and mouthfeel is a bit slimy but bright.
A good summer beer, but make sure it's done by Labor Day ;)

Sample this part of a mix pack. a rich malty flavor. overall hopping is mild. sweet beer worth another try. good Summer brew.

Blech ! Off tatse, thin, the bad bitter..tatsted like shoe polish. I wouldnt use his to boil my brats in even.

Bright yellow beer,slightly hazy with a rather fetching rocky white head.
Aroma subdued but getting hints of honey and caramel.
Taste is nice,like the aroma,honey caramel malts..slight grassiness in th end..nice.
OK on the palate..goes down well.
As far as i can tell this is pretty much on target fir style and a nice summer drink

Bottle. Clear light orange pour with a small white head. Aroma is a little malty, caramel, bread, and butter. Taste is similar - buttered bread keeps coming through. Very slight hop kick at the end.

Bottle. Taste is dominated by lemon with some grain flavor also present. Not too complex. Easy to drink.
