COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Eye Crosser IPA is an Imperial IPA, intensely hoppy and is a very strong pale ale that lacks harshness. The intense hop character of our IPA is created by insane amounts of hops, choosing just the right combination and amounts of them. The large quantity of hops adds intense hop bitterness, flavor and aroma without too much crystal malt flavor. Dry hopping adds additional hop aroma. Because it has a high alcohol content, it is important to make sure that the fermentation continues until the full alcohol level is achieved. This ensures the drinkability of the beer.

OK IPA. Notes of straw, leaf and chlorophyll. Finishes clean. Drank at Mission Pizza and Pub, Fremont.

Tap at Mission Pizza as "Mission Position IPA." Pours hazy amber with a medium creamy off-white head that leaves great lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus, pine resin, light floral, and a touch of tropical fruit. Flavor is the same, with more prominent floral notes. Lightly sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a somewhat oily mouthfeel. Pretty good.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a deep golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma is malty with some butterscotch, toffee and tropical fruit. Very malt heavy. The flavor is the same. Toffee with some pine bitterness and hints of pineapple. Smooth on the palate. The malts get in the way of the hop character but otherwise it has no real flaws.
