Light amber in colour. Creamy white head that disappeared quick. Typical sweet aroma of something of this standard. Light hop and lots of bread. Somewhat decent.

Bottle. Light amber body with average carbonation and a fair off-white frothy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with some grassy notes. Taste is dominated by hoppiness, and carries bready hints. Ends with a good bitter finish. Good "everyday lager".

I’m pretty disappointed with these new formulations. Has a weak amber colour with small head, not much but sweet malts and breadiness to distinguish it, and a strangely alcoholic nose.

Purchased J.R. Brickman Amber and Pilsner as a bundle offer at LCBO. Had this one first. This one pours amber (duh!) with a thick, nice lasting head. Aroma was pleasant, very crisp. Taste was nice; kinda robust and easy drinking at the same time. Malt and hops are pronounced and finish was clean. Had that caramel/toffee taste similar to the Honey Red I had a while ago as well, a little sweet but I still liked it.

At the brewery. Easiest drinking, most satisfying of the new Brickman series. Lace and mild amber colour. Malty aroma and taste. Medium mouthfeel. On the sweet side

Bottle courtesy of MrManning. Pours a clear, very bubbly amber with a large off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, fruit, grain and hops -- not too bad. Decent caramel malt flavour with some grain and light hops. Medium bodied. This is pretty good for a Brick product but it doesn’t really knock my socks off.
