Lightly hazed amber lager with a thin off white head. A rather sweet malt aroma, with caramel notes, a bit corny. In mmouth, I agree with dabosk that this is veering into Rickards territory in terms of taste. A sweet caramel malt with notes of diacetyl, and a bit more hops in finish than RR. Boring.

At the brewery. Easiest drinking, most satisfying of the new Brickman series. Lace and mild amber colour. Malty aroma and taste. Medium mouthfeel. On the sweet side

Bottle (341ml). Courtesy of MrManning. Dazzle me, Brick-boy - the rest of your output has been swill, so show me how craft beer’s supposed to be made. Deepish amber with an average foamed beige head. The aroma’s pretty much burnt caramel flavouring trying to pass itself off as "roasty", very sugary and a little unpleasant. The taste is incredibly artificial - again, like Kraft butterscotch mix overcooked, with fresh grain added - sweet, scorched and grainy. Mouthfeel’s fairly thick, but it’s flat and seems more like watered down extract syrup than beer, with the added bonus of a sour rice-y finish - no thanks, only nominally better than their non-premium brews. Man that aftertaste doesn’t want to go away!

Appearance :Some slight haze in this amber is shown, good proper off white top. With time black tea like creamy reminiscent.3+
Nose :Sweet caramel malt at front slightly spicy perhaps even nutty backing. Fairly clan (and plain). Flavour/Palate:
A bit thin with softer slightly creamy texture. Light bitterness well blended in semi sweet caramel tastes. Medium carbonation. Like its aroma clean but fails to deliver exceptional qualities. Decent amber, properly brewed but cant miss it’s washed out character.

(473ml can) Purchased from the LCBO Rideau for $1.95. Pours a slightly carbonated amber body with a caramel nose. Mild hop body with a caramel malt base. Pretty plain but non offensive.

Bottle courtesy of MrManning. Pours a clear, very bubbly amber with a large off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, fruit, grain and hops -- not too bad. Decent caramel malt flavour with some grain and light hops. Medium bodied. This is pretty good for a Brick product but it doesn’t really knock my socks off.

Good head retention. Amber coloured. Non-descript aroma. Thin malt. Vague vanilla notes. Whatever.
