Flavour is reasonably malty, some hopping, and a heckuva lot better than everything else Brick’s been releasing. terrybail (340), London, Ontario, Canada

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Amber would be pushing it for this beer, more yellow in colour. Taste is thin and fades quickly. It is sweet but lacks characteristics. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 31, 2009 473ml can from LCBO. Time to start knocking off the local ratings! More dark yellow than amber but with a nice fluffy medium head and lots of streaming bubbles - that is a surprising 4 for appearance. Aroma is slightly metallic, slightly sweet and just sort of light malt like. Not much there. Taste - the first thing I noticed was the soft almost full mouthfeel - it is also very surprising and nice. Too bad there was not more flavour. Light malt, not really sweet at all with some hops in the end. I had this just after having the Lion Brewery Premium Lager and this did have more flavour while being quite similar. No off tastes at all and a good amount of malt for the style. Not bad, good have been very good with a lot more flavour. sneagrams3 (1764), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Not a very good nose. Metallic and sulfurous. Light to medium bodied and mildly crisp. Grainy with a touch sweetness. Meh... Beer Snob (382), Ontario, Canada
