Skidds (155), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Nov 12, 2006 Doing samples one day at LCBO, I walked one with a 6pack of this and the Pilsner. My relationship with most Canadian beers is stormy at best but this one really turned that around. Very good amber lager. Similar to Creemore.

IrishBoy (2080), Bakersfield, California, USA Apr 15, 2008 341 ml bottle from MrManning! Thanks Len!!! Nose is slightly grainy with some caramel malts, sweetness and some pinon pine nuttiness; clear amber with a big straw head; flavor is semisweet caramel with an apple note, but only a tiny bit of bitterness in the finish! Decent ADL; actually #21 by style! lukin (1), Ontario, Canada does not count Mar 20, 2008 Bottle, bought directly from brewery. I walk past the brewery every day smelling the malts, so I finally got around to tasting some Brick. Dark brown colour, head dissipates quickly. Aroma of caramel. Tastes of malts and caramel, little aftertaste. Average at best; there are better Ontario craft brews. robinvboyer (972), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jan 19, 2008 darkish brown color, small to no head. slight sweet malty aroma, with no hops to speak of. flavour is wattery, and slightly malty with some caramel notes. Again, no hops to speak of.......meh, not very good. The_Jester (447), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Nov 17, 2007 351 mL bottle. Almost transparent dark orange-brown (not quite amber) with basically no head. Very mild aroma of malt and a little citric hops. Flavour is mild as well; mostly sweet malt and something . . . corn? Sweetish at the finish. Almost no hops. Medium to high carbonation. Not terribly impressive.
