radiomgb (1923), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Jun 25, 2007 Light golden in colour, thin whispy white coloured head, no lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet, some light biscuity malts, grassy and herbal hops. The flavour is actually moderatly hoppy (more herbal hops than anything), lots of pale malt sweetness, grassy, some light caramel and grains. Crisp mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes long with a moderate sweetness. Not terrible, an interesting new line from Brick, actually surprised by the amount of hops in this.

wilderthanyou (411), Guelph, Ontario, Canada Jun 24, 2007 Surprisingly Good. Was expecting a typical flavourless pilsener. Pours a golden honey colour with a thin white head which disappears real quick. Biscuity aroma, with sweeter notes of malts and caramel. A pretty solid pilsner but nothing outstanding, straight forward flavour, light malts at the start, a touch of yeast, and a faint hoppy finish. A good session beer, refreshing and tasty. A good camping trip beer for sure. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jun 5, 2007 341 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits in Halifax, NS (May 2007) drunk a bit above fridge temperature from a Christoffel glass. A big, promising hiss as the cap is popped....light buff large-bubbled head pours huge but dies very quickly, leaving no appreciable residue atop the pale, very clear amber body.....nose is faint, tilted towards the malty/grainy with a more prominent honey tone than needed, and the noble hops, pleasant enough, recede into the background....a decent enough body, the malts are there if a little bit worty and underdeveloped, but where are the hops? just a faint touch of something at the back end, perhaps Saaz but really it’s quite hard to tell; again there is a stronger honey quality, and as it warms just a bit an unpleasant mineralic and vegetal character intrudes on the the mushy finish.....I could be a little harsh here, having just had one of my best pils experiences ever a couple of nights ago (Les Trois Mousquetaires MacAllen Pils) but in any case, this is a dud. JesseM (661), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Apr 11, 2007 Updated: Jan 22, 2008Not a whole lot of head, but not a big deal in this case. Pretty decent flavour, nicely smooth and not overly carbonated. It’s a local beer for me so maybe I’m a tad biased, but I honestly feel this is a pretty solid beer. Very enjoyable with a big dinner.
Re-rate: This was one of my first "craft beers" ever, so I really didn’t know what to make of it. It was decent, but I had it again recently and noticed a pretty serious decline. Diacetyl city, tastes like buttered popcorn, wow, I’ve lost a lot of respect for this brewery. VeloVampire (483), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 17, 2007 341 ml bottle - pours a clear honey colour with a nice white head that leaves chunky lacing. Faint aroma of metallic hops and some sweet caramel malt, along with some bready yeast. A nice average pils, but it doesn’t have that "bite" that the best ones (Urquell, Czechvar) have. Much more in line with a pale lager. The far superior local pils, King, gets my money any day. A Brick product through and through.....drinkable but not memorable. tomthompson89 (1460), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 5, 2007 decent malts and some hop bitterness, clear yellow gold coloursome head, little caremel malt, definate session beer DerWeg (750), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 29, 2006 I found this simply awful - "it burns, it burns!!!" Really raw tasting macro lager with a mouth feel like dish soap. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Dec 27, 2006 Light amber-gold, with light white head. Grassy, malt aroma... exactly what I’m expecting. The flavour is lightly malty, mute hops and little bitters. Slightly Buttery. Marginaly better then I expected upon first wiff.
