On tap at brewpub. Poured a transparent golden brown with a very small head and virtually no retention. Aroma of cinnamon and chocolate. Tasted of cinnamon and nutmeg, knid of pumpkin pie, maybe a little chocolate. Not a whole lot of hop or malt character to speak of, this beer derives most of it’s taste from the spices.

I’m a sucker for a good pumpkin ale, however i thought this could have used a bit more spice and more pumpkin flavor. Pours a semi-hazey orange colour with a small creamy, frothy white top. Aroma has soft notes of cinnamon and nutmeg as well as light pumpkin. Taste i found to be a little too thin, pleasent but not very full.

A really excellent pumpkin spiced ale. A complex mixture of flavors comes together in the mouth for a few minutes before fading. Looking forward to another release of this next year.

Transparent orange-to-brown with a dusty and thin white head. Blessed be aroma. Rich pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon and pecan pralines doused in liquefied brown sugar. Flavor keeps the pace for the most part. Pumpkin at the front, spice in between and a finish akin to an experimental pumpkin flavored sandwich bread. Nice spiced subtly of pepper and nutmeg, and perhaps a toffee current for good measure. This is precisely the style of pumpkin ale that I’m a sucker for.

Amber color with a thin head. Dry and grainy aroma, if an aroma can be dry... It definitely has the Grape Nuts taste going on. The pumpkin is present to be sure, but not as noticeable as I would want from an actual pumpkin ale. Decent, but not a good pumpkin.

Deep golden color with a cream colored head. Pumpkin spice aroma. Spicy start with a malt middle and a dry pumpkin finish. Interestng swings in this swig.
