3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Swaroga (255) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 8, 2011
33cl bottle. This one is really clear, transparent, yet still golden with a big white head. Nose : Yeasty, hay malts aroma. Rare beer I smell more vegetables and cereals then fruits. Caramel. Sip : Whipped light cream body with a delicate carbonation. Sweet licorice and cherry esters on the start, some alcohol. Covered (not entirely) by bitter hops. Quite floral. It has this sour licorice like aftertaste. Really great texture ! Only for that I could drink this beer daily. I don’t agree with the taste but it is a very sophisticated one and deserves respect.

Bottle 33cl at Rockcafe de Wurft, Noordwijk, Netherlands.
I’m not a real big fan of "Duvel"-like beers, but this one surprised me. Nice slightly herbal flavor, a good beer to get you warm on a cold winters night.
