Appearance: hazy apricot color, with slowly rising fine carbonation. Whit lacey head. Aroma: apples and a little metalic Taste: fruit, peaches? Apples. Alcohol. Palate: thin, metalic Overall: a little bit strong for my taste. Feels like should be a quaffing beer but the 8.5% alcohol is a bit too much.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Delhaize (Luxembourg). Pours a clear yellow colour with a small thin white head. Aroma is malty, sweet and floral. Average carbonation and medium body. Alcoholic. Taste is more sweet than bitter. Overall, a good beer but a bit boring.

Aroma of malts, light citrus fruits, yeast, light spices. Flavour is yeasty, a bit too sweet for my taste, alcohol. Not my kind of Belgian strong ale, too sweet and onedimensional.

Pale gold with foamy head. Malts dominate with some acidity. Long finish in which alcohol starts to dominate. Nothing special

Bottle from SuperDino supermarket Puerto Mogan Gran Canaria. Golden in colour with a thin head though decent lacing. Aroma is a mix of Belgian yeast and slightly floral hoppiness. It does taste like a stong belgian blond but its just a bit too boozey, almost white wine like too, and certainly on the one dimensional side. There’s also some syrup sweetness that knocks it off balance. It’s not my favourite style anyway and I’m likely making a direct comparison with the likes of Duval - which also, might I add, has a tighter champagne like fizz. I’ll have another of these later, though not tonight, to confirm that I’m not being too harsh.
