2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On cask at The Townhouse Pubís 10th Annual Beer Festival, Ely. A golden ale with a lacy white head. Aroma of pine, caramel and blackcurrant. Interesting flavour of blackcurrant again with some pine, mild malt and yeast notes. Dry finish and linger.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned Handpump Alexandra Kettering. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head. Wierdly I wrote that there was some tea in the aroma before it dawned on me what the name of the beer is. Iím sure the tea isnít deliberate yet I am also sure it was truly there. There were light hoppy notes also. Biscuity malty in the mouth and a bit plain and ordinary.
