2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Trader Joeís, 11/18/12
Aroma:†The nose is heavy on caramel, rather malty, and has some lighter earthy notes
Appearance:†This one pours an amber color with a small beige head, and some light lace
Flavor:†This one has a kind of unpleasant taste of macro-lager, caramel, and other of flavors
Palate:†The body is medium, it feels a little too sticky, and almost cloying, with a pretty lively carbonation
I wasnít a huge fan of this beer. The flavor just doesnít work all that well in my opinion, and the quality is not really that high. Really not a winner in my opinion.

12 oz bottle. It is am amber beer, and the color is right. Slightly sweet and malty with a touch of bitter hops. A bit soapy though and the hop bitterness is a bit flat.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. Clear copper with a lasting spongy foam. Light aroma of toasted walnut and nearly scalded vanilla toffee. Taste is the same but with a more pronounced toastiness, plus a light earthiness and sour apple touch reminiscent of English Ale yeast. Light-medium body has medium carbonation and is a well balanced, easy drinker.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a copper color with a hue of red. Aroma of sweet malt with a slight hoppiness to it. Taste is a typical red but very refreshing and light on the palate. Overall a clean amber ale with a little more flavor than most amber beer. If youíre in the San Dimas area make it a priority to visit the brewing company!!

A private label beer made specifically for the Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside California. A great tasting amber ale, extremely drinkable with mild bitterness. A copper red color with an off white head. Mild tastes of caramel and sweetness. If your ever in Riverside, California treat yourself to this wonderful amber ale.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Murky amber with small tan lace. Nose is sweet, grainy malt, cardboard. Malty, lightly bitter flavor. A little too much carbonation makes for a slick and strange mouthfeel. This is why I donít buy beer at Trader Joes.

12oz bottle - pours amber with quickly diminishing off-white head. Nose is caramel and potpourri. Flavor adds malty goodness and faint hops. taste is lightly sweet and a little bitter. Iím a sucker for this malty goodness; pardon my high rating.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2012 Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a standard 16 oz. tapered pint glass. Dark amber color, little foam. Interesting aroma of green apple - not what I expected from an amber ale. I used to love amber ales, but this one is a bit flat. Medium body, somewhat insipid taste, slight toasted malt flavor. Not bad, but nothing that stands out. More of a cool weather ale.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
House tap at Yardhouse Denver. Clear amber with a decent frothy beige head. Smells pretty good with notes of toffee, caramel, and toast. Taste is also really good, smooth, round, and full flavored with mild sweetness. Notes of predominant toffee, with some accompanying notes of caramel sweetness, sweet grainy malts, toast, and ending on a light note of caramel. Nothing out of the ordinary for an amber, but is an exemplary example of the style.
