Brewed from the finest malted barley, hops, yeast, and water.
Ed. note: The label states that the brewery is Steinhaus, which does not own a facility. This beer appears to be brewed at two facilities, the second one being August Schell in New Ulm, MN.

Aroma of sweet bread, hints of caramel. Nice light brown/orange color. Tan head....holds nicley. Sweet malt is first taste. Tatste of cereal, and bready yeast also. Nice bitterness comes in next, nice contrast to the sweat malt. Finishes with a heavier bitternss, but some fo the sweetness lingers for balance. Rich mouth feel. Pleasantly surprised.

Bottle, Trader Joe’s. Quite sturdy and somewhat odd aroma, not that pronounced finish.

Jumping Cow Amber Ale has a very thick, beige head, a clear, bubbly, amber appearance, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of tannic, sweet, brown bread crust, and the taste is of those elements, with pleasant, appropriately bitter hops and even a mildy citric aspect. The mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Jumping Cow Amber Ale finishes semi-dry, easy-drinking, and refreshing. RJT

Trader joes. A buck. Pours a dark amber color with a small white head. A light fruity and dusty malt nose. Sweet, some toffee, caramel, spices, smooth toast. Ok. Very light.

An mediocre amber ale. Picked it up at Trader Joes in DC in 2014. Light, slightly stale sweetness. Little bitterness and watery.

12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe’s in Kansas City. Pours amber with a small beige head. Mild aroma of malt, caramel, and fruit. Taste is caramel malt, bit of fruit, and a bit of grass. Kind of boring, but drinkable.

On tap at Lazy Dog, Erie. Pours amber, thin white head. Aroma is a little boring, a brief nose of red apple, not much else. Think it is mainly the pint glass it was served in, because I am picking up a whiff of bar sanitizer. Body is light, hints of caramel, sugar, malt, and mild bitterness. Was okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours slightly reddish amber with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Moderate lacing. Nose is malty with a light note of raisin. Taste is slightly bitter - pleasingly so. Medium body, lively carbonation. Solid brew.

12oz bottle from Trader Joe’s in Tallahassee. Amber pour, light tan head. Aroma is toasty, caramel, sweet, brown sugar. Tastes are caramel malt, nutty, little pine, tea. Pretty decent - certainly compared to some of the other random TJ’s brews I’ve tried lately.
