Sometimes the price is what makes an average beer a bit better than others. Compare this one for 3.99 $ a sixer to any other beer for that price...... anyway pours in amber in color with a nice head, malty/hoppy nose not too bad.

Bottle from my aunt the day before Thanksgiving. Oddly, the bottle says it’s from River Trent Brewing Company in CA. Pours a medium orange, basically amber color. About a half finger of head. Aroma is slighty malty but not much else going on. Taste gives off caramel and toffee notes but leans heavily on the malt characteristics with a hoppy finish. A thin, watery mouthfeel. Almost reminds me of homebrew. Not a compliment. This cow should jump over the moon and stay adrift in space forever.

355ml bottle. Brewed at Mendocino. A,mber color, veyr soapy looking head. Aroma is earthy grain and green bean. Flavor has watermelon jolly rancher, spices, minerals, light toast. Very basic beer and not that great.

Bottle: Slightly hazed amber-brown with a small off-white head. Bready, watery, caramel malt scent. Taste is slightly sour, doughy, caramel... Light, but rather harsh and unpleasant. Not good.

Bottle. Lactic caramel malt aroma. Amber with minimal head. Very lightly sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Light, watery body. On the plus side, nothing unpleasant but pretty boring.

Not a big fan of Ambers but this is a pretty easy drinker. Not big on the palate but smooth.

"pretty much what you expect at 5.99 a sixer. decent malt backbone and some floral hops in the aroma. balanced but malt leaning flavor, on the light side, with an unassuming body."

Bought this at Trader Joe’s. Cheap 6 pack. Wanted to try something new. Just like 2 buck Chuck, this beer is very palatable and easy to drink. No frills, but pretty solid.

Bottle from TJs. Nice amber color and average beige head. Hard to pin down the aroma, a little malty. Tasted a little like lemon iced tea, a little grassy. Pretty thin. Just ok.

Aroma of sweet bread, hints of caramel. Nice light brown/orange color. Tan head....holds nicley. Sweet malt is first taste. Tatste of cereal, and bready yeast also. Nice bitterness comes in next, nice contrast to the sweat malt. Finishes with a heavier bitternss, but some fo the sweetness lingers for balance. Rich mouth feel. Pleasantly surprised.
