Pours clear yellow with a white foamy head. Malty aroma. Taste is sweetish with just a faint hint of hoppy notes. Watery overall impression. Next time I will choose a normal Jupiler. (33cl can)

Can, 330ml from The Winkler Store in Jabbeke, West Flanders, Belgium consumed at the van at Camping Gritt Luxembourg. Pale yellow gold with short head. Wet cardboard, musty notes from the beginning, thin. Barely drinkable.

Metallic, thin, generally awful--rusty, watery stuff. Maybe better bottled, but the canned version is barely drinkable. None of the creamy finish sometimes found in Belgian PLs. Disappointing

Couleur jaune dorée, très légère mousse. Nez leger malté, legume. Gout juste malté, un peu sucré glucose, petite amertume... une daube

Can 33cl shared by Calisky. A clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is very light on grain. Aroma is on grain, some corn sugar touch, very watery, almost no aroma, finish on grain and light toasted grain, medium bitterness.

Inspired by Jmgreenuk’s review, I travelled out of my way to visit the Fiddler to sample this brew. It’s a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is malty, wort and cardboard boringness. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with a massive cardboard palate and light carbonation. Thanks John, truly an inspiration!

Bottle at the Fiddler, Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is skunky malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet with a light dry yeasty very unsatisfying palate! Light bodied with lively carbonation. I’m amazed there is still a market for beer like this.

25cl bottle. Clear straw colour with nice white head. Straw, grassy and cereal aroma. Average carbonation and light watery body. Taste is watery, light sweet with some light bitterness. Overall, a refreshing beer but nothing more.
