At various locations in Belgium, from can and draft. Obviously, the draft was much better and a good way to loosen the gears before getting into the heavier stuff over at Kulminator. This is basically the Bud Light of Belgium. With that in mind, it’s exponentially better than that. The cans weren’t anything special but will live in my memory as we crushed a 12 on the train from Antwerp to Brussels, which all trains should allow... nay... encourage. So, I could have done worse. If I ever need to mow a Belgian lawn, this would be the beer in my holster.

500ml can - I can’t really rate the appearance of this because I drank it out of the can in a park in Brussels. Smells like your typical euro-lager, sweetly malty with soft hopping. Flavour was sweet, mildly citrusy, very similar to Stella Artois. Grainy hops. A light earthy bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. A Euro-lager. Not the worst, the colour was a pale gold, some sweet malt was evident throughout and also a whiff of hops. Preferable to Artois.

Farm animal smelling aroma. Very light clear yellow color with a small white head. Lightly tangy taste throughout.

Pours golden with small head. Little bitternes in the end. Just another boring lager...

No aroma. Clear golden colour. Frothy, unstable head. The flavour is OK citric, but has a little fruity vegetable note which I do not like.

I was very drunk when I tried this the first time and somehow thought it was an okay blonde and very cheap. Just bought some to rate.... man I must have been drunk. Perhaps I drank something else and thought it was this. It’s just another crappy lager. Admittedly less crappy than many of our crappy lagers in australia. Unfortunately I have the rest of the pack left. Perhaps I can leave them in the hotel fridge for the next poor bastard.
